2 dead, including infant, after White County pursuit ends in crash

BROOKSTON, Ind. (WISH) — Police person identified the 2 individuals killed successful Sunday’s White County car pursuit that ended successful a single-vehicle crash.

Passengers Jaliyah Johnson, 21, of County Club Hills, Illinois, and Jeremiah Brown, 4 months, besides of Country Club Hills, were pronounced dormant by the White County coroner.

Another passenger, 21-year-old Eric Stokes, was transported to a section hospital. A juvenile rider and a toddler were flown by chopper to abstracted hospitals for treatment.

Police accidental the White County Sheriff’s Office was successful pursuit with the conveyance driven by Joshua Brown, 23, of Springfield, Illinois, westbound connected State Road 18 astir 11:00 p.m. The car ran disconnected the road, deed a histrion and came to remainder against an abandoned house.

Brown was transported to a Lafayette country hospital, wherever it was determined that helium was nether the power of a controlled substance. He was past taken to White County Jail.
