Carmel High School principal, with district 19 years, to retire

CARMEL, Ind. (Hamilton County Reporter) — Carmel Clay Schools has announced the status of precocious schoolhouse main Tom Harmas effectual astatine the extremity of the contiguous schoolhouse year.

Harmas has been with the schoolhouse strategy 19 years. He was the archetypal main of Carmel’s Creekside Middle School, past became Carmel High School main successful 2017. He was named Principal of the Year astatine Creekside by the Indiana Principals Association.

Carmel Clay Superintendent Michael Beresford said, “We admit Dr. Harmas’ dedication and work to the students, unit and community.”

Future plans of the retiring pedagogue person not been announced. No replacement for Harmas has been selected. The schoolhouse committee volition hunt for a caller main and see applications during the adjacent fewer months.
