WABASH, Ind. (WISH) — A antheral was killed successful a Wabash County clang connected Thursday, Indiana State Police said.

Around 10:15 a.m., constabulary responded to the intersection of State Road 124 and America Road connected reports of a two-vehicle crash.

Preliminary probe suggests that a minivan driven by Jason Sturgill, 28, of Wabash, was southbound connected America Road and failed to halt astatine a halt sign. Police accidental Sturgill proceeded to propulsion onto State Road 124, striking a semitractor driven by Douglas Nicodemus, 45, of Columbia City.

Sturgill was pronounced dormant astatine the scene.

A two-year-old successful Sturgill’s van was taken to a adjacent infirmary with non-life-threatening injuries.
